Hulk Mark Ruffalo Gives His Controversial Casting Choice For The Superhero’s Female Counterpart – the She-Hulk!! Will her character be able to live up to the expectation??

In August, Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced an exciting piece of news – there is going to be another Hulk in the Marvel universe. Feige announced that Bruce Banner is now not the only green giant but will have to share his superpowers with another human.

She-Hulk Series In The Works

This human is none other than Bruce Banner’s female cousin. In an emergency, Banner donates blood to her, unknowingly also transferring his superhuman abilities to her. Hence, She-Hulk is born. According to the comics, She-Hulk goes by the name of Jennifer Walters. She is a lawyer before all this happened.

She-Hulk will first make her appearance on the streaming platform Disney+. Joining her will be another female superhero – Ms. Marvel herself. Expect Moon Knight also to make an appearance alongside them. As for the casting of She-hulk, nothing official has been confirmed yet.

Hulk Gives His Vote For Tessa Thompson

But Bruce Banner himself has given his choice for the role – Tessa Thompson. The actor said that she would be great in the role of the new superhero.

There might be some complications if that happens, though. This is because Thompson is already a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But Thompson Is Already Marvel’s Valkyrie

The actress plays Valkyrie in the avengers. She first appeared in Thor: Ragnarok. But her part in Endgame was of more importance. In the movie Avengers: Endgame, she was made the new ruler of Asgard by Thor. Valkyrie then joined the Guardians of the Galaxy and is set to act in another Thor movie- Thor: Love and Thunder.

So, of course, there would be a bit of confusion if Thompson were to act as She-Hulk too. The executive producer for She-Hulk is Jessica Gao, who is a writer of Rick and Morty’s fame. The filming date for the She-Hulk series on Disney+ hasn’t been announced yet.
