How to avoid your ex when you have common friends? People The Weeknd and Bella Hadid share in common

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd were the biggest “It couple” in Entertainment but in August 2019 they called it quits.

Although most people would go about their life without having to worry about running unexpectedly after a breakup into an ex or their mates, this is definitely not the case for this couple.

After dating on and off for more than four years, they eventually ended up overlapping groups of friends.

In November 2016, although they literally met up on the ramp of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show just days after their first split earlier that month, they had to keep things discreet. Then, they officially crossed paths at Mark Ronson’s Club Heartbreak event in Los Angeles, following their second split in August 2019.

Selena Gomez

The Weeknd and Selena Gomez made headlines in January 2017 when they were seen making out, just two months after he had already thrown in the towel with Hadid. The pair dated 10 months, and after that, there was certainly a bit of unpleasantness between Gomez and Hadid.

Gomez and The Weeknd, however, remain on strong post-split terms. “They are still speaking, and they will continue to be friends. They were really grown up about it, “said one insider shortly after their split, in October 2017.

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, and Bella Hadid hosted an event at New York City’s Hard Rock together in November 2015. Hadid and The Weeknd were involved romantically at the time, but they also had friendships with Sheeran on an individual basis.

He approached Sheeran for some support on his track “Dark Days” while The Weeknd was recording his 2015 album Perfection Behind the Insanity. After working together, the Weekend gave Sheeran high praise.

From the beginning of their music successes in the late 2000s, Drake and The Weeknd were great friends; both musicians hail from Toronto, Canada. By submitting his music on his blog, Drizzy openly supported him when The Weeknd was just growing in popularity in the U.S. in late 2010

The pair worked together in 2011 on Drake’s album Take Care, upon which Weeknd co-wrote four tracks. Earlier, during The Weeknd’s March 2017 Starboy: History of the Fall Secret show in London, they performed “False Love” and “Heat” together.

Hadid maintained she was just friends with Drake. When a follower accused her on Twitter in June 2018 of shacking up with him.

Even, the reports seemed not to have sat well with The Weeknd. Fans could not help finding a verse in his track “Lost in the Flames” clearly directed at Drake to keep his son, Adonis, a secret. “And I just want the right baby/’because I will never be the one who would hide one,” he sings.

Taylor Swift

There’s a highly coveted spot in Taylor Swift’s team and the Hadid sisters have theirs on lock. Swift was seen hanging out several times with Gigi beginning in 2014 and her sister was known to tag along too. In April 2019, both Bella and Taylor attended the jeans-themed 24th birthday party of Gigi.

They then met again that August at an after-party of the MTV Video Awards. In the meantime, The Weeknd has built through the years his own alliance with Swift. During Swift’s 1989 World Tour appearance in East Rutherford, New Jersey in July 2015, audiences were surprised to see him join Taylor on stage for an epic performance of “Can’t Feel My Face”
