The action thriller series ‘Homeland’ is up for a last and epic final season. Homeland Season 8 is said to be the last season for the series. The series is going to air its last instalment on premium streaming service Showtime. The series still didn’t release on Netflix, but it depends on which part of the world you live in!!

Homeland is an action-thriller drama series which revolves around the life of a CIA Operative active in the field while she copes up with her own mental health issues. For season 8 she lands up in Afghanistan again negotiating for peace due to her invaluable knowledge of the region. The 12 episode season 8 is going to stream from February 9th 2020 to April 6th 2020von Showtime in the USA.

Presently Netflix doesn’t stream Homeland. Netflix still does not own the streaming rights for Homeland and won’t even appear in the near future. Since the series is distributed by 20th Century, it will either go to Hulu or else stay on Showtime rather than going to Netflix.

Well, the S8 will release somewhere around early 2021 for Netflix UK. During S7 too it didn’t arrive anytime before February 2019. Interestingly enough, Season 7 wrapped up on Showtime sometime in April 2018.

The final season is going to be pretty much about Carrie Mathison’s(played by Claire Danes) recuperation after months of torture and imprisonment by a Russian Gulag. Well, she heals physically, but mentally she’s still not 100% ready which is a barrier for Saul who is appointed as NSA by new President Warner. And currently, the foremost job for him is to maintain peace and end the never-ending war that the USA has waged against militant forces in Afghanistan. But to accomplish all of this Saul needs contacts and expertise which only Carrie knows of and can provide. So Saul requests Carrie to help him one last time to accomplish the mission.
