Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, developed by Hulu, turns out to be an animated ape action series. The series features a Japanese snow Monkey who eventually turns into a killer. Earlier yesterday (September 20), Hulu released the first trailer of the Hit-Monkey Series. The series is all set for a release on November 17, exclusively on Hulu.
Plot
Hulu releases the debut trailer of Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, an animated series featuring some ape action. The trailer gives us a glimpse of Monkey’s story, including his spectacular killing skills. Not to forget, his sarcastic and wise ghost mentor.
Hit-Monkey is an adaptation of a Marvel comic book created by Daniel Way and Dalibor Talajić. As the name suggests, the series Hit-Monkey’s protagonist is a Japanese snow monkey. Apparently, the Monkey’s whole tribe gets assassinated, including an American killer Bryce. As the story follows, the spirit of American killer Bryce mentors the Monkey in the killing of the underworld Yakuza. Bryce motivates him to seek vengeance on the Yakuza. Eventually, the Monkey teams up with Bryce’s ghost, beginning the saga of their revenge against an underworld criminal gang.
While, in the Hit-Monkey series, the protagonist Monkey proves to be a good assassin, he tends to be quite a bit short-tempered. However, Bryce turns out to be sarcastic, cynical, and soft, perfectly complementing his partner’s character. So, eventually, Bryce helps his buddy to transmit his capabilities in the right way.
