Here’s what our friendly neighborhood Spider Man Tom Holland thinks about IT: Chapter Two!!

Horror movie It: Chapter Two is releasing this weekend, and the movie saw a big star-studded premiere in Los Angeles. The premier was attended by many guests including Spider-Man / Peter Parker Tom Holland. The actor shared his thoughts on the scary movie on his Instagram.

Tom, who attended the premiere of the movie with his brother Harry Holland, shared a picture of both of them to give us a clue about how the sequel to the Stephen King horror movie was. The picture has Tom laughing while Harry was looking terrified and shaken. Holland captioned the post saying, “Both emotions sum up this movie. It’s both terrifying and hilarious. What a night and what a film! #IT.”
The post has been quite popular amongst fans who found the mini-movie review funny and on point. Harry also commented on the post claiming that he was brave, at which Tom has replied “the bravest.”

The post has caught the attention of James McAvoy too who is part of the It: Chapter Two cast. He commented on the post thanking for the star for their support and even revealed that he is a fan of Holland. The comment reads, “Thanks for the support fella. A pleasure to finally meet you…even if I was convinced we’d talked the talk before. Love the work btw! J.”

The movie revisits the old characters of Derry, Maine, who have grown up and gone their separate ways and takes place thirty years after the events of the first movie. The story traced how every 27 years evil revisits the town and has the original cast repeating their roles as the original members of the Losers Club. Bill Skarsgard returns as Pennywise. Other members of the cast include James McAvoy. Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean. Directed by Andy Muschietti, the movie is set to follow the huge success of the original first movie It as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

The movie has received mixed reviews so far and gas a 68% score on Rotten Tomatoes. While the cast and acting have been appreciated by critics, plotline and CGI effects have been disappointing to many. The movie is available in cinemas from September 6, 2019.
