Reese Witherspoon revealed on Instagram, Thursday how Snapchat is the perfect way to talk to her children!
The Oscar-winning actress revealed that a Snapchat filter can intensify your shocked face. Especially, when one of your kids comes to you at the very last-minute about school supplies.
Reese is a doting mom to her three children — daughter Ava, 19, and sons Deacon, 15, and Tennessee, 6.
She posted a picture on Instagram with a startled face and a Snapchat filter. This was complete with glasses, bunny ears and sparkly hair bows. On-screen, it reads, “Are you seriously telling me TODAY about all the school supplies you need tomorrow?”
And obviously, other celebrity moms could relate.
Jennifer Garner wrote, “Lord, yes” while model Helena Christensen added, “Haaaaa oh man I totally remember those days.”
Witherspoon using Snapchat to talk to her kids is nothing new. In 2017, the actress revealed to Conan O’Brien that she communicates with her children in “funny ways.” Since she is goofy, she sends weird Snapchats of herself. Sometimes, she does old man voices and goofy teeth.
Furthermore, she explained that her strategy is to communicate with Ava and Deacon through social media because they use it “all the time”. Witherspoon said that during the day, she sends her son, Deacon, pictures of disgusting animals to convey her mood.
Reese does this nonstop during the day just so the children “remember who’s the weird one.”
From her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe, she shares Ava and Deacon. Currently, she is married to Jim Toth and has a son, Tennessee with him.
