THE PLOT OF “TOO FAR GONE”
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
The Walking Dead is known to surpass audiences’ expectations with every episode. Season 4 Episode 8, “Too Far Gone” is literally the heart and soul of the entire series. It literally got the fandom heartbroken. Michonne and Hershel were held captive by the Governor (who is also responsible for Michonne’s pal Andrea’s death). It is the episode where Darlyn gets to know that Carol was exiled by Rick as a measure to shield her from Tyreese. Tyreese is oblivious to the fact that Carol was the one who murdered his girlfriend, Karen.
Hershel’s death was the highlight of the episode. The most tragic scene episode ever.
“We’ve all done the worst kinds of things just to stay alive, but we can still come back. We’re not too far gone. We get to come back. I know we all can change”, said Rick after the Governer declined Rick’s entreaty.
