None of us is oblivious to the fact that the Jurassic World is a massive franchise. When the Jurassic World released in 2015 it took the box office by storm with a gigantic $204.6 Million collection that even on the opening day. Reason? Maybe because of our attachment to the OG Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park which literally made our childhood memorable.
You have to admit, Jurassic World gets us all nostalgic.
Well, the spine-chilling dinosaur franchise is going to be back on 11th June 2021. However, like many other contemporary movies, Jurassic World‘s production has also ceased for now.
On 14th March, @JurassicWorld_ twitter handle tweeted:
“BREAKING: Filming has stopped. #JurassicWorld3″
THE CAST OF JURASSIC WORLD 3
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s roles will be reprised. Jurassic World: Dominion will have Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Omar Sy, Jeff Goldblum, Jake Johnson, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Scott Haze, Dichen Lachman and BD Wong. Rumour has it that Isabella Sermon will also be a part of the instalment of the franchise.
PLOT FOR JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION
We don’t have the details about the plot for the Part-3 but we do have Chris Patt’s assurance that the audience “will not be disappointed”.
Colin Trevorrow shed some light about the Part-3 on his interview with Jurassic Outpost:
INTERVIEWER: You’ve said Jurassic World 3 will have the most accurate dinosaurs yet. What exactly does that mean for a Jurassic film, feathers or otherwise, and what – if any – lessons have you learned from designing dinosaurs on the past two films?
TREVORROW: We’re not looking to alter the dinosaurs from the previous movies. Those are established characters to me—they were made with reptilian DNA bridging the gaps in the genome and they have their own identity. But now we’re headed into a world in which the ability to clone a dinosaur is no longer exclusive to Dr. Henry Wu. That leads to innovation, and new opportunities for us to introduce species that represent the full spectrum of our knowledge.
