According to reports, Mary Jane Thomas’ cause of death has been verified.
The former model, who was wed to Hank Williams Jr., an American singer-songwriter and musician, died on March 22, 2022, at the age of 58.
It has since been claimed that she passed away at a hospital in Jupiter, Florida, following cosmetic surgery.
Reason for death:
According to People, Thomas, who was born and reared in Tennessee, passed away as a result of a collapsed lung that had been punctured the day before during an elective treatment.

The publication claims to have both an autopsy report and a report from the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner.
According to the postmortem, the cause of death was determined to be unintentional and was brought on by a pneumothorax brought on by a perforated parietal pleura during a treatment involving liposuction and autologous fat reinjection, according to People.
According to reports, Thomas came to Jupiter for a liposuction procedure at Bafitis Plastic Surgery as well as to have old breast implants taken out.
She was reportedly brought to a recovery facility after being freed from the facility on March 21 but “suddenly” lost consciousness the next day. After being brought to the hospital, Thomas passed away in the emergency room, according to People.
Williams and Bafitis Plastic Surgery’s representative has been approached by Newsweek for comment.

Williams posted about his late wife on Twitter and instagram in April. Samuel, a son, paid his mother tribute and share it on instagram. He stated in a statement to People: “My dear Mama Mary Jane was a beautiful soul who forever affected everyone who knew her. She had a smile and presence that lit up every room and she never met a stranger she didn’t befriend. Her spirit was gentle and giving. She could take down a ten-point buck and fix dinner for her grandchildren at the same time! Now she gets to radiate from above with my sister Katherine Diane right by her side.”
