Gotham Nights: A DC Series Spin-Off is at Works on The CW

‘Gotham Knights’ on The CW

CW is coming up with another DC series. CW announced on Thursday that the series ‘Gotham Knights’ had been ordered a pilot. The producers of ‘Batwoman’ will also produce this upcoming CW series. The series is inspired by the DC comics. The rumours of Gotham Knights coming to television surfaced last year.

Apart from Gotham Knights, other series will also air on the channel. ‘Walker’ spinoff ‘Walker: Independence‘s’ pilot has also been ordered and the prequel for ‘Supernatural The Winchesters‘ as well.

However, it has CW did not officially confirmed weather Gotham Knights will hit the TV screens or not. It most certainly is a speculation.

Bruce Wayne’s Son

‘Gotham Knights’ revolves around Bruce Wayne’s son. After Bruce Wayne’s murder, his adopted son associates with the children of Batman’s enemies. Later, this group is accused for killing Gotham’s saviour. Now, they have to prove themselves innocent as Gotham turns into a dangerous place. Unexpectedly, this rebellious group are the ones to protect the city.

Writers and Producers

Warner Bros will produce this upcoming series just like all the other superhero shows on the CW network. Iveash, Stoteraux, and Abrams will write the script for the series.  Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and David Madden will serve as executive producers along with Fiveash and Stoteraux.

Fiveash and Stoteraux previously served as executive producers on multiple other CW shows including ‘Batwoman’. The duo also received credits on ‘Krypton’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Gotham Knights will mark Abrams’ fourth that he wrote for CW. Previous shows include ‘Batwoman’, ‘Supergirl’, and All American.

CW is famous famous for turning DC comics into series. So, it is quite likely that it might come with another shoe for all the DC superhero fans out there.
