As we saw in the last season, Billy McBride played by actor Billy Bob Thornton might be back and also fully recovered after the brutal shooting in season three to deal with a crisis. The showrunner described it as a rather timely global crisis.
The show is all set to come back as announced by Amazon Studios on November 14 with the news the series will be released in 2020. So we have to wait a little while this year. Fans are still concerned after Billy was shot by Diana Blackwood and was bleeding out in a car park. So his return is what is making the wait troubling.

Along with him, all the other casts members including Nina Arianda as Patty Solis-Papagia, Diana Hopper as Denise McBride and Tania Raymonde as Brittany Gold are all expected to return as well. Executive producer Lawrence Trilling has given us a little bit hint about the plotline saying that he is thrilled that they all hot a chance with telling Billy McBride’s story.
He further said that this time the plot will be working on a ttimely global crisis that impacts an entire generation. So this season is all set to get more intense than ever. We might have to wait a while.
