2022 line-up for Glasgow film festival is out!
The Glasgow Film Festival has revealed the entire line-up for 2022. This edition is going to run from 2nd March to 13th March.
The audience will get to experience an exclusive preview of the pilot episode for Outlander Season 6. This Starz popular series is all set to make its debut on March 6. And it will definitely be a highlight of the film festival.

Nearly 10 world premieres will be taking place.
Yes, you heard it right! Glassfow Film Festival will be seeing a total of 10 word premieres. Here are some of them-
- Monstrous– a supernatural thriller film starring Christina Ricci.
- Skint– a series of monologues based on poverty presented by a brilliant team. The team is led by Peter Mullan, Derry Girls creator and writer Lisa McGee, Cora Bissett and Jenni Fagan.

- Wake up Punk– a project where Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood’s son Joe Corré is going to raise a voice regarding exploitation of counter-culture.
- Pictures From Iraq– poignant and powerful work by Scottish war photographer David Pratt.
- Adult Adoption– A debut film for Karen Knox about the feeling of wanting to belong.
Other creations to look forward to in Glasgow Film Festival
There will be a few films having their UK premieres at the film festival. Among them are Happening (Venice Golden Lion award winner), Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic’s Murina (Cannes Camera D’or winner), Mark Rylance starrer The Outfit and Synth-pop documentary a-ha The Movie.

Benedetta by Paul Verhoeven and The Worst Person In The World by Joachim Trier have made it to the list of Scottish premieres.
Death Of Stalin director Armando Iannucci, who has worked in multiple TV and film projects, is included for Talent in conversation.
According to the observations made in the Glasgow Film Festival, women are the directors for 6 out of 7 films in the race for the Audience Award and around 40% of new movies.
