Gigi Hadid looks not so happy while escorting a YouTube prankster off the runway who crashed onto Chanel runway

Gigi Hadid saved the show during the Chanel catwalk at Paris Fashion Week when an unknown prankster intruded on the runway mid-show. Hadid stopped the prankster from going any further on the ramp and also escorted her off the stage, while the security struggled to stop the prankster.

The brand Chanel displayed its Spring Summer 2020 collection at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, the 1st of October. While the models walked the runway, a prankster, later identified as a YouTuber Marie Benoliel, or Marie S’Infiltre, as she is known online, came out from the audience and clambered onto the ramp mid-show.

The prankster with 227,000 subscribers began to walk along with the other models and tried to blend in wearing a black and white tweed suit from Chanel and a bowler hat. But she couldn’t fool anyone. The security rushed to get her down when 24 years old Gigi Hadid took matters in her hands.

Before the security could do anything, Hadid came into action. She walked right over to the prankster, preventing her from walking any further on the runway. The YouTuber tried to diffuse the situation by showing Hadid some of her best moves but nothing worked. Hadid went on to escort her off the stage.

In spite of the rude interruption, the show was successful. The audience was happy viewing Chanel’s ready to wear Spring Summer 2020 collection. Gigi Hadid also looked absolute chic in a sparkling navy top and a pair of tiny black velvet hot pants.

The show also marked the debut of Virginie Viard at the Paris Fashion Week as Chanel’s creative director. Viard took the role of the creative director post-Karl Lagerfeld’s death.
