Geralt of Rivia A.K.A. Henry Cavill reportedly injured while he was shooting for season 2 of “The Witcher”.

Amid COVID-19 the shooting of “The Witcher” already went through a delay. However, the shooting began anyways. But now, the shooting is going through another issue as Henry Cavill who is the lead actor of the series got a leg injury. However, sources says that production will continue to shoot the scenes which do not involve Henry. “The Witcher” is an original Netflix series. Season 1 of the show was successful in gaining ultimate viewership. Moreover, Cavill’s performance was mind blowing as “Geralt of Rivia”.

In fact, Netflix was so sure about the series that they renewed it before the season 1 of the series was released. Actually, “The Witcher” was never even promoted as a single season.

According to sources, Henry Cavill has injured his leg during the shooting

He was wearing safety harness and was about 20 feet off the ground. Although he don’t need serious medication but he cannot wear heavy armour. It is just a minor leg injury. It is sort of for entertainment industry who films shows and movies like The Witcher to suffer physical injury.

But, season 2 of The Witcher has already suffered so many disruptions that another disturbance may affect the release of the show.

Probably, we may see season 1 in 2021 if everything went according to the plan

Season 2 of “The Witcher” has already suffer numerous disruptions. Previously, the shooting of season 2 went through a shut down due to coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, Kristofer Hivju also tested positive for the virus. So, the production was not able to continue for the shooting until several months after. But early in November, the shooting was again shut down as four people of the production came positive for the virus.

Certainly, what we can do is just cross our fingers and pray that Cavill gets fast recovery.
