Emmy Awards 2021 Brings Schitt’s Creek Reunion
The beloved cast of the Canadian show Schitt’s Creek finally appeared together for the first time after the show ended last year. Schitt’s Creek was released for the first time on 13th January 2015. It was active for five years on CBC but ended last year on 7th April 2020. The show was created by a father and son duo aka Eugene Levy and Dan Levey.
However, after the end of the show, the cast members never appeared together. But it seems like Emmy Awards 2021 turned out to be a blessing for them and they for the first time since last year appeared together. Below is the deliberation of the memorable reunion of the Schitt’s Creek cast.

The cast of the show appeared on the stage together to present awards in comedy directing and writing categories. Dan Levy, his father Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, and Annie Murphy together presented numerous awards.

Most of the lines were bagged by Eugene while the squad was presenting the awards. The whole cast was stunned by this. Anyways, after presenting the awards in comedy writing, the foursome presented awards in comedy directing.
However, this time the most of the liners were given to other cast members. So, Eugene was kind of excluded this time.
Awards bagged by Schitt’s Creek
- O’Hara won the best lead actress award in the comedy series category.
- Eugene won outstanding lead actor in a comedy series
- Dan bagged the outstanding support actor in a comedy
- Murphy won the outstanding support actress in a comedy
Moreover, the series also took home two statuettes at the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony. It is an award given for outstanding casting in comedy series and contemporary costumes.
