Written by Atsushi Okubo originally, this Shounen Manga is about a boy named Shinra Kusakabe, the protagonist. He is known for possessing pyrokinetic superpower. Hence, he’s called the “the Devil’s Footprints”. Fire-starter Shinra’s ability lands him a job in Special Fire Force Company 8 to fight the “Infernals”. His endeavour with Company 8 begins when a regional factory owner morhpes into an Infernal. Memories of how the Infernals obliterated his family come flooding when he takes up that case. The pyrokinetic eventually vanquishes the Infernal.
