Comedian Kevin Hart met with an accident on Sunday night.
Actor-comedian Kevin Hart met with a car accident on Sunday at 12:45 AM in Calabasas, California. The ‘Ride Along’ 40-year-old actor was in his recently purchased 1970 Plymouth Barracuda with his driver, Jared Black and another passenger. Reportedly, Jared Black, 28 lost control of the vehicle while making a left turn on Mulholland Highway from Cold Canyon Road, causing the car to go off the road, smashing through the wooden fencing and thereby, tumbling on an embankment, completely crushing itself due to the impact.
As per the reports, Kevin and Jared suffered major injuries in the car crash while the third passenger was unhurt. They sustained severe back injuries and were ushered to nearby hospitals. Kevin was the first one to get out of the car and was immediately admitted to the Northridge Hospital Medical Centre, while Black, who was stuck under the collapsed roof with other passengers was rushed to another hospital.
As per the police, the car has suffered considerable damage due to lost control, but the driver wasn’t under the influence of alcohol. A video of the site was shared by one of the CBS2 reporters on his social media.

Hart had gifted himself the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda on his 40th birthday in July. He had posted a picture posing with the car showing a triumphant fist on his social media account.
There isn’t any statement regarding the accident from Hart’s associates, but the fans and the Hollywood stars are wishing for the comedian’s speedy recovery. Actor Terry Crews tweeted “Get well soon, brother,” soon to get joined by Comedian Jeff Ross who tweeted, “We need @KevinHart4real to be okay.”
