The Umbrella Academy is a web television series of America. The series is a superhero science fiction fantasy drama based on the Dark Horse Comics book series of the same name. The first season was released in 2019, which came third popular series of Netflix in 2019 after Stranger Things and The Witcher. Netflix confirmed the series for the second season in April 2019. There is no official date as to when Season 2 will be released, but Netflix stated in October 2019 that it would come soon. The filming for it started on June 17th, 2019, and concluded in November 2019. The series is expected to be released in the spring or summer of 2020.
No official trailer for the series has been released yet. It will be released maybe one or two months before the airing of the series, but the Hillywood Show team has put up a parody documentary about Hagreeves family and Number 5. Season 2 of the series will also consist of 10 episodes.

The casts will include the grown-up versions of the Hagreeves family with the return of Tom Hooper, David Castaneda, Emmy raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Adian Gallagher, Justin H Min, and Ellen Page. Additionally, three new members have also been in Season 2, which includes Lila played by Ritu Arya, Raymond, played by Yusuf Gatewood, and Sissy, played by Marin Ireland. It is not officially confirmed, but the time-traveling assassins Cha-cha, Hazel and The Handler is expected to return.
It is not known yet how Season 2 will unfold, but the first episode will pick off right after where Season 1 finale has ended. The Umbrella Academy official page on Twitter has also posted, “Right Back Where We Started.” The series also does not follow the exact storyline from the comics book, and some changes have been made to it.
