‘The Society’ is a mystery teen drama available on Netflix. It created by Christopher Keyser, from the first impressions it seems as if it is a usual teen drama web series on Netflix. But a series of events lead them to a deserted town, In the town, they must work with each other to remain alive. The show holds a rating of 7/10 on IMDb which is pretty fair and is said to be based on the British novel Lord of the Flies.
Netflix released Season 1 of The Society was released on 10 May 2019. And just after two months of its release, Netflix announced that it will be renewed for a second season.
The plot of Season 1 revolves around the story of some teenagers that find people missing after they return to their town from a cancelled field trip the teenagers must work hand in hand with each other to survive.
The city looks to be covered by what we assume to be dense and puzzling forest and it certainly does not come as a shock that they are not able to communicate with the other side. A lot of things were left unexplained in the first season and the viewers will be looking forward to finding some answers to the unanswered questions from the first season on Season 2, releasing this year.
Season 1 was received well among viewers, mostly teenagers. The critics however did not think the show to be extraordinary.

Most of the main cast members are likely to make a comeback which includes Kathryn Newton, Sean Berdy, Gideon Adlon, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jacques Colimon, and Olivia DeJonge.
