Dolly Rebecca Parton is a famous American singer who is basically known for her work in country music. Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors is a drama film based on a true story by Dolly Parton. The film released on 10th December 2015 which premiered on NBC. A sequel to the film also released in 2016 titled as Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

The film re-aired again on NBC on 26th December 2019. The film and the sequel were adopted from the album and song of the same name which was released by the singer in the year 1971. In the song, she tells about her family struggles and upbringing during the year 1955. She tells how her mother stitches and makes a coat for her daughters out of the rags given to the family.

Fans got a special post-Christmas treat due to re-airing of one of the legendary film which was available only on DVD for purchasing. The sequel of the film was also re-aired on Friday at 8 pm by NBC. Fans were very excited to relive those memories.

One fan tweeted that the only person who could deter her from a real housewives marathon was Dolly Parton, FYI: Coat of Many Colors is on NBC right now. Another one added that “Just watched Dolly Parton’s movie, “Coat of Many Colors”, I wish every person could watch the movie!
