The studio released a teaser trailer for the popular series “Doctor Who,” revealing that Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor leave and be replaced by David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor as the Fourteenth Doctor. The latest teaser also provides a second look at the antagonist, played by Neil Patrick Harris, as well as our bumbling Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa.

In the video, Donna Noble, played by Catherine Tate, admits that occasionally she feels as if something was missing—like she once had something beautiful but it has vanished. She continues by saying that she isn’t longer sure of who she is. The Fourteenth Doctor claims that Donna Noble will “end up dying” if she ever recalls him, putting her in apparent danger.
The trailer then flips to Ncuti Gatwa, who is naively wondering that what the hell is going on there.
Russell T. Davies discusses the upcoming season of Doctor Who
In a previous teaser for the new season, showrunner Russell T. Davies said that if David Tennant’s entrance was a shocker, there are many more awaited surprises.
The way to Ncuti’s Fifteenth Doctor, he added, is paved with suspense, terror, robotics, puppetry, risk, and pleasure. How is this related to the lovely Donna Noble’s comeback? They’re giving everyone an entire year to speculatively prepare before all hell breaks loose!
David Tennant on his comeback
With Entertainment Weekly, David Tennant recently discussed his “blissful” comeback as the Doctor. He remarked that getting the chance to redo something which had been such a delightful experience fifteen years prior was an unanticipated reward.
It has happened before for former Doctors to make cameos as guests, but getting another silent treatment in a long coat, albeit one with a few minor differences, was a delight He had never really anticipated. He just hopes that he would still appear to be as quick as I was in the early 2000s.
In 2023, Doctor Who will mark its 60th anniversary since its premiere in 1963.
