Major luxury fashion goods company Dior has launched its Fall 2020 Menswear Collection.
2020 feels more like a ‘Suits’ year after Louis Vuitton had intense Suit pieces in their Fall Collection, Dior tried to achieve something more with the ‘Suit’.
Kim Jones, who designed this year’s Fall Collection at Dior effectively combined Street-style with High-End Fashion. Jones said he took the inspiration from legendary designer Judy Blame, British stylist, artist and tastemaker who left the world in 2018.
The designer’s influence is completely infused in this collection. Right from his signature beret to the intricate gloves which dictate each piece of clothing to roll-up till the elbow. Even the accessories reflected a similar taste, which includes large brooches and swinging necklaces.
Dior’s Fall 2020 collection is truly an ode to the devoted artist. The garments were a Dior gray satin opera coat along with an oversized fringed rosette, put together with paisley embroidered silk sweater, pin-striped pants, and white evening gloves.
The looks had some pastel colors too. The garments had some streetwear influence too with a newspaper printed silk tunic paired with a simple suit jacket.
The event was organized at Place de la Concorde. The intricate set composed of large glass cases that were heavily guarded.
