Is Popular Political Show House Of Cards Getting Renewed For A Seventh Season?

Unfortunately, we might have some bad news for House Of Cards fans as Netflix announced that the sixth season is, in fact, the final season of the show. While the reason for cancelation has not been announced by the makers or the streaming service.

The cancelation might be because of the wave of controversy that was sparked against the protagonist of the show, Kevin Spacey. The actor was accused of sexual harassment and this led to his dissappearance from the show as well! The limelight soon fell on Robin Wright who could not manage to get hold of good ratings.

Is The Cancelation Due To The Negative Publicity Or The Low Ratings?

By the time Robin’s character Claire Underwood became the commander in chief, fans seem to have lost interest in the political thriller show. With a grave allegation made on the show’s titular actor, it was assumed that that might have also affected the show as well and also ratings were affected.
