Pop sensation, Demi Lovato’s newest release, “I Love Me,” makes a strong statement by bashing all the judgement and criticism that she has endured in the recent past.
It is well known that Demi has always been at the recieving end of both the media as well as her own inner critic. The new release is an upbeat song with unimpressive instrumentals. It has a repetitive rhythm and isn’t unusual. Some have even reported that it sounds very similar to Katy Perry’s “Roar”. However the awe-inspiring lyrics make up for the lack of impressive music. A lot of young people can relate and be inspired from the song.

This in turn put her in a negative headspace and led to her relapse. However, now things look bright with a new team to support her. Lovato is in a much happier place.
“If you do go through this, you yourself can get through it. You can get to the other side, and it may be bumpy, but you are a ten out of ten, don’t forget it,” she said. “And as long as you take the responsibility, you can move past it and learn to love yourself the way that you deserve to be loved.”
Lovato’s message got out loud and clear in her new single, which flaunts lyrics that promote self-love and condemns self hate. “Why am I always looking for a ride or die?” “Cause mine’s the only heart I’m gonna have for life.” She writes in her song. Lovato inspires fans to accept themselves whole heartedly without judement. She also encourages body positivity and rejects superficial criticism.
Despite the lack of impressive music, “I Love Me” still showcases Demi’s music prowess as she hits high notes effortlessly and with sheer elegance.
Lovato’s “I Love Me” signifies a significant growth in her career and personal life. It represents inner strength and resilience. Fans are excited for the upcoming songs of her new album.
