‘The Sopranos’ prequel : “The Many Saints of Newark”
The acclaimed director Alan Taylor’s “The Many Saints of Newark” is a full package of crime and drama. The story focuses on the dark mob world through the lens of Tony Soprano and his uncle. The story begins in 1967 picturizing young Tony Soprano accompany his mentor uncle, Dickie Moltisanti, to welcome his father and his new Italian bride Giuseppina. Following, riots in Newark caused due to the ill behavior of white police towards black taxi driver and many gang wars between the gangster families.
Then, many ill fate battles and murders takes place. Moreover, The dangerous tom and jerry fight between family members surrounds the whole movie. In addition to this, Tony’s character build under his uncle goes side by side of the other gang wars. The sharp and strong personality of Tony sharpens out. One of his guidance counselors also told his mother that he had high IQ of Stanford – Binet and Myers-Briggs leader personality.

The Crime drama movie “The Many Saints of Newark” composed of a whole cast of acclaimed actors like William Ludwig as Young Tony Soprano, Michael Gandolfini plays the role of ruthless lead Tony Soprano, Alessandro Nivola portrayed the role of Dickie Moltisanti – mentor and uncle of Tony, Vera Farmiga as Livia Soprano – mother of Tony, Michela De Rossi acts as Giuseppina Moltisanti, Ray Liotta plays “Hollywood Dick” Moltisanti and Salvatore “Sally” Moltisanti – twin brothers and many more.
The Rockford Files and Boardwalk Empire famed writers David Chase and Lawrence Konner respectively pen the storyline of “The Many Saints of Newark” . Besides, Sex and the city, Game of Thrones, Lost credited director Alon Taylor directed the prequel.
Moreover, David Chase, Lawrence Konner, Nicole Lambert are also in the producer list of the movie. Furthermore, Warner Bros. Pictures and New line Cinema are in the production team along with HBO films.
