The many delays faced by the movie
No Time to Die is an upcoming James Bond film. In fact, it’s the 25th film in the James Bond series of Eon Productions. The movie will be the fifth outing of Daniel Craig as the British MI6 Agent. And the anticipation of the fans for this movie is unreal. However, it is understandable as they’ve waited for a long time.
In fact, the development for the movie started back in 2016 with Danny Boyle set to direct. Danny Boyle was also supposed to co-write the screenplay of the movie with John Hodge. However, both Danny Boyle and John Hodge left because of some creative differences with the producers.
And after a month Cary Joji Fukunaga was announced as Danny Boyle’s replacement. In addition to all, the COVID-19 outbreak also contributed to the delay.
Facebook streaming the London premiere of the movie
Finally, after this many problems and delays No Time to Die is releasing in theatres on September 30th. On September 28, No Time to Die will be having its world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Additionally, the London world premiere of the movie will stream on Facebook, according to the sources. Facebook was able to secure access to the live red carpet.
The red carpet event will broadcast on Facebook and Oculus Venus as well. For those unaware, Oculus Venus is an experiential space for Oculus VR headset backed by Facebook. From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, local time, the event will be broadcasted.
Additionally, presenter Clara Amfo will be hosting the show. Facebook’s social video tools, such as live comments, captioning and Q&As will be incorporated by the production.
Daniel Craig bids farewell to the character of 007
It is quite obvious that Daniel Craig is returning for the role of James Bond. However, Craig has said that No Time to Die is his last movie as James Bond. The actor thought that his tenure with the character ended after Spectre (2015). However, No Time to Die actually allowed him to complete his journey as the 007. Additionally, Daniel Craig is now an Honorary Commander in the Royal Navy.
The same rank is actually held by 007 in the James Bond Franchise. Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, and Christoph Waltz are all returning for their respective roles as well. In addition, Rory Kinnear, and Ralph Fiennes are also returning for their roles. Some new actors and actresses have also joined the cast of the movie. Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, and Ana de Armas are some of the new additions.
Additionally, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen and David Dencik are also joining the cast. No Time to Die was supposed to release in theatres on September 30, 2021 but pushed further to October 8.
