Country singers Carly Pearce and Michael Ray are getting a divorce following just eight months of their marriage. The couple was one of the popular country’s preferred pairings however fans were left in quite a state of shock when they got the news of their favorite duo throwing towel so early.
As per People magazine and Fox News, agents for the couple, who married in Nashville, Tennessee, last October, affirmed the split Monday.

Addressing People, a source stated: ‘This was a hard decision. It wasn’t something she wanted to have to do. This hasn’t been a quarantine realization — it was a last resort.’
“I know that everybody keeps asking me where Michael is, but he’s just really focused on music,” Pearce said in response to ABC Audio’s inquiry. “And I think he’s not posting a lot and doing a lot of things just for a reason.”

“And I think I’m really proud of him for the music that he’s working on right now,” she added. “I think it’s a big evolution for him. And I think people are really gonna get to know him. And I’m happy for him in that.”
The publication affirmed that Every Little Thing singer and lyricist sought legal separation from the Her World or Mine artist after the pair fraternized during the pandemic.
Pearce, 30, and Ray, 32, started dating in summer 2018 and last showed up together freely not long ago for performance at the Grand Ole Opry, People revealed.
