Christian Serratos starrer new Netflix series ‘Selena’.

It was already announced last December that Selena Quintanilla would be getting a scripted Netflix series wholly based on her life, so titled Selena: The Series. A famous singer who gave the public many hit songs like “Dreaming of you,” will have a biographical on Netflix.
Unfortunately, the beautiful singer Selena Quintanilla was murdered in March 1995 by Yolanda Saldivar, her manager and the president of her fan club. Her death was a major shock and the most significant loss of the nation. Also, this is not the first time where Christian’s story has been told on screen: Jennifer Lopez starred as the late musician 1997’s Selena, which earned $11.6 million on the very first weekend of the opening.
A biographical series will be premiered on Netflix soon
And now, her biographical series will show chronicling her ascent to stardom, and how she and her family turned themselves with fame.
Sources revealed that the Netflix listed the show in a “two-part limited series” and “Coming of age story”. The part one will follow Quintanilla’s early life, about her parents, her relationship with siblings and husband and of course, her wild dreams which becomes a reality because of her passion and hard work.
Who will be playing Selena?
A Mexican, as well as an Italian descent actress Christian Serratos, is chosen to play Selena. She has also appeared on The Walking Dead and in the Twilight movies. Sources also stated that she was also making her prediction that she would have this role.
Christian will be joined by other casts including Gabriel Chavarria as A.B. Quintanilla, Selena’s oldest brother; Ricardo Chavira as Abraham Quintanilla, Selena’s father; Noemi Gonzalez as Suzette Quintanilla, Selena’s sister; Seidy Lopez as Marcella Quintanilla, Selena’s mom; and Madison Taylor Baez as a young Selena.
