Charlotte: The First Clip of the Animated film Garnered Exciting Response from Fans

The first clip from the movie Charlotte is out at Toronto Film Festival

Oscar stars Keira Knightley, Brenda Blethyn, Sam Clafin, Henry Marsan, Jim Broadbent, and Sophie Okonedo are part of this film Charlotte. However, the film is an animated drama. Eric Warin and Tahir Rana are directing this Canada-France-Belgium drama.

About the film’s background

Charlotte Salomon is a young German-Jewish artist who just has come from the Second World War and her art is just mesmerizing. Meanwhile, the film is based on a true story. The story is based on the autobiography “Life? or Theatre?”. Whereas the French version of Charlotte will feature the voices of Marion Cotillard and Romain Duris. Both of them are Oscar winners.

Charlotte Salomon is seen in many paintings from 1941 and 1943 while she was hiding from the Nazis. However, in 1953 she was captured and sent to Auschwitz. This was the place where she and her unborn child were gassed to death by the Nazis. Meanwhile, in 2015 a nineteen-page confession by Salomon was released in which she described the fatal incident.

However, Charlotte belonged to a prosperous family. Her father was a surgeon but due to the circumstances made by the war, he committed suicide when Charlotte was just nine. In the meantime, her mother also died from influenza. Till the age of 16 Charlotte was going to school but the invasion of Nazis put a stop to her life too. Life was not easy for Charlotte.

The movie will also be an emotional ride for the fans.
