Hollywood celebrities have gone back to the era of the nineties for help. The help is regarding hairstyles. This has led to the return of the most famous and desired ‘bowl cut’ of that era. It is time for us to grab our spoons once again with the return of this hairstyle.
In an Instagram post, Charlize Theron revealed herself rocking the ‘bowl cut’. The hair is cut in a straight fringe around the circumference of her head. The fringes are all of the same lengths. There are dark sideburns whereas fringes are highlighted blonde. This hairstyle is influenced by supermodel Linda Evangelista.
However, the hairstyle of Theron seems to be purely professional as the actress had written in the post that the new look is for her upcoming role o’Cipher’ in the upcoming ‘Fast and Furious 9’ which will be come in 2020.
Also, Theron, the Oscar-winning actress is not the only one who has rocked this hairstyle on the silver screen. Mackenzie Davis, “Terminator: Dark Fate” star has sported a similar look for her upcoming movie. However, her hairstyle differs from Charlize Theron by being rougher around the edges.
Charlie Theron has been fashionably experimental. She never shies away from beauty transformations. She has switched her look many times this year. Starting from brunette bobs to radical micro bangs and now to a bowl cut.
The credits for the hairstyle goes to the master hairstylist Adir Abergel. Apart from Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis, fashion icon Celine Dion appeared on the cover page of ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ in a similar look. Also, Kaia Gerber along with other models had worn bowl-cut wigs in Fendi’s AW19 Couture show.
Looks like, the hairstyle which has been associated with the school hairstyle styled by the children’s mothers, is now slowly building to be the next big trend in the industry.
