Channing Tatum’s Ex-Wife Jenna Dewan Admits She Felt ‘Blindsided’ And Hurt By Tatum And Jessie J Relationship

One of Hollywood’s most admired couples called it quit the last year. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan were together more almost 12 years after meeting on the set of the first Step-up movie in 2006. The couple continued their relationship after the movie gave them their big break. In 2009, they got married and some years later their first daughter Everly arrived.

The couple kept it steady for a long time – almost ten years or 12 if you count the courtship days. But as is the curse of Hollywood, they called it quits just one year shy of their 10-year anniversary. And boy oh boy, were we surprised, not to mention a tad heartbroken. But in the infamous words of Tupac – Life goes on.

After officially announcing their separation in April 2018, Tatum and Dewan took off on their own. Just six months later in October, reports came of a possible linkup between Tatum and Jessie J. According to Dewan’s new book Gracefully You: Finding Beauty and Balance in the EverydayJenna learned about it just like the rest of us.

The 38-year-old actress has dished some dessert about the time that the news came out that her ex-husband was dating British singer Jessie J. Not as nonchalant and supportive as we assumed, Jenna was actually hurt. She was very troubled by the intense media coverage about the issue – her name was mentioned almost everywhere.

People went as far as to assume that Tatum was dating Jessie J because she resembled his ex-wife so much. But Dewan chose to remain calm through it all. Instead of posting some snide comments, the actress chose the high road. And kudos to her for that! Now, she is very happy with her new boyfriend Steve Kazee and their baby on the way.

According to E! News, Dewan made the better decision this time too – she told ex-husband Channing Tatum about the pregnancy before announcing it. What a classy lady!
