Castlevania: The Vampire War is Not Over Yet! The Animated Series is all Set to Return with a New Season

Castlevania is an American adult animated web TV series based on the video game series of the same name, follows the adventures of a group of monster hunters as they try to save the nation from Vampires. It returns for a third season more vampires leading to more suspense, more murders and more fights.

Netflix announced that Castlevania’s third season will release on March 5, 2020, with a total of ten episodes. There have been reports that the original cast is expected to return to the voices of their respective characters including Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, James Callis as Alucard, Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades, Adetokumboh M’Cormack as Isaac, Jaime Murray as Carmilla and Theo James as Hector.

On February 14, 2020, Netflix released the official trailer for the third season, which seems even more interesting than the preceding seasons.

The audiences will get to see some new additions too, the posters hint at the introduction of two characters: a woman with long brown hair and a man. Netflix has not yet revealed their identity of the name of the stars who’ll be portraying the roles.

 

Although season 2 ended with Belmont team killing Dracula, there are chances that the Dracula might return from death. After all what else do you expect from the vampire?

The season three will start with Team Belmont, travelling separately. Trevor and Sipa will settle in a town with Sister’s secret, Meanwhile, Alucard lives in Dracula’s castle and admires a couple.

Since the show is an adaption of the video game series so the 2005 game Castlevania can provide some clues about the third season. Years after the Dracula died, the story follows Hectar, who renounced his powers to accommodate and live with the humans.
