Bridgerton S2 first looks
Netflix recently dropped the very first looks for the brand new season of the beloved series Bridgerton. The new season will feature Simone Ashley, the actor we also saw and loved in shows such as Sex Education and Because the Night.
After Daphne and the Duke
The first season shadowed the passionate love story between Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke of Hatings and ended with the couple welcoming their first child. One of the first looks also revealed that actress,Phoebe Dynevor will be making her comeback as Daphne although without the Duke of Hastings, as the actor Regé-Jean Page has already bid his goodbyes to the show.
Theories for S2
It seems like the series will now focus on the roles of other actors and explore their character arcs, primarily Anthony Bridgerton and his pursuit for a suitable wife. He is predicted to fall for Kate Sharma. After Anthony escorts Edwina, Kate’s younger sister, the former chooses to conclude their romantic relationship, thus, further complicating the situation.
The stills narrates a story
The creators have dropped enough stills from the next season off the show to keep the fans busy with their crazy theories and assumptions for at least a few weeks. In the images released by the creators, actors, Ashley and Jonathan Bailey can be seen together in ballroom.
Pictures of actors fencing were also shared on the official Instagram handle of Netflix and a lot more stills from the season 2 of the show for the fans to feast on. This season will also feature a lot more Indian representation as Lady Whistledown searches for a suitable woman for Anthony Bridgerton.
Netflix, on January 19 announced that the season 2 of this much awaited show is all set to premiere on March 25.
