Brad Pitt’s First Oscar For Acting after Three Decades in Show Business!

The 92nd Academy Awards ceremony for honouring the bests of 2019 in the film industry took place on February 9, 2020. Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science hosts the function, while broadcasted on ABC. For an eighteenth consecutive year, the event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Fight Club fame actor, Brad Pitt moved the audience from his emotional acceptance speech after acclaiming first acting Oscar for best supporting actor in his remarkable 32-year career. His first-ever Oscar for his acting skills- Best Supporting Actor was awarded to him for his edgy and fabulous portrayal of Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood. Pitt, who is known for his edgy speeches and his satiric nature got emotional as he held his Oscar trophy in hands.

Pitt set up his speech with a political reference of event lately happened at the senate. He said they gave me 45 seconds to speak referring to the incidence where senate gave john Bolton 45 seconds to speak. Former is the ex-advisor of president Trump.

There was silence in the room as Brad delivered his poignant speech which moved everyone and yet, brought a smile on everyone’s face in the audience as they heard the actor thanking everyone behind his first acting Academy award, with rapt attention. He dedicated his award to all those who were the constants of his life.

Dedicating his first Academy win to his children, the 56-year-old actor got emotional as he held his award and said that it is for his kids who colour everything he does. “I Adore You” added the actor. Pitt shares six children with his ex Angelina Jolie. Fifty-six-year-old brad had a coarse split with his former interest, which followed a nasty rift for custody of children as both wanted to parent children.

The actor also mentioned and thanked his Co actor Leonardo DiCaprio. “I’ll ride on your coattails any day, man,” said the actor with a tinge of humour in his acceptance speech, “the view’s fantastic.” The two celebrated actors who sat in the front row just two seats apart briefly hugged before the Brad made to the stage.

It’s worth mentioning that the film is close to the heart of the veteran actor. and why not! the movie got him all the critical acclaim and accolades that he desired and deserved.
