A second Bofuri season has been announced that only makes fans expect Maple and her friends to have more adventures. It debuted on 8 January 2020 and ended its first season, which was originally scheduled for twelve episodes on 25 March. The second season will start right where Bofuri’s first episode 12 has left, as Maple seems to have greatly strengthened its powers.
Production
Silver Connect Studios produced Bofuri Season 1. The studio has worked on Kokoro Link, Blood Strike, Wise Man’s Grandchild and Destiny / Kaleid. In addition, the studio indicated that they want to use the success they made in the first season to collect the momentum before it gets lost.
Release Date
The project will be jointly directed by Shin Oonuma and Mirai Minato. As a chief illustrator, Kazuya Hirata is to assist them. Director Kion will work on the original designs of the character.
The series will be composed of Fumo Shimo, which became famous for operating on the Clannad anime version. It is available on Crunchyroll and Hulu for those who did not have enough of season 1. You can catch Funimation when you’re a DUB only fan.
Plot for Season 2
The show is based on that same-name light book series and has seen its sales rise exponentially lately. The market for Bofuri is another aspect that will speed up the return of the displays, and there’s still a lot of material to draw from Season 2.
Only 4 out of nine titles have been adapted. That is not even half of the Manga. There is so much in store for season 2 that is if the production house wants to work on it. With the manga being a hit, fans expect the same thrill from the second season too.
