“LALISA” took people by storm
BLACKPINK’s 1/4th part, Lisa Manoban has released her album today on 10th September 2021. Singer, Rapper, and Dancer Lisa Manoban has released her solo debut album LALISA. Lisa Manoban is popular for being a part of the group BLACKPINK which also consists of Ji-soo Kim, Roseanne Park, and Jennie Kim.
BLACKPINK’s official Twitter account uploaded Lisa’s first visual for her album. Lisa is the third member to embrace the solo journey following Jennie and Roseanne. The singer holds the record for being both the most followed K-pop star on Instagram and the most subscribed K-pop female artist on YouTube. The singer wants her solo journey to be as good as Jennie and Roseanne. She also talked about the support she got from her fellow BLACKPINK members visited the site of the music video shooting.
What to expect from the Album?
The singer stated that she added Thai-style sounds to her album. The BLINKS of BLACKPINK will recognize that the album is a reflection of her Thai heritage and her real name Lisa Manoban.
In addition to the title track, the album has other three pieces “MONEY”, a hip-hop track that she desperately wanted to add to the album. The singer has further added by telling her experience and process of making the album by saying that she wanted to display herself truly. The album is pretty special and sentimental for her.
The singer has also released a music video for the title track. The K-pop star wanted to give a Thai feel to her album and YG producer Teddy arranged the lead track in the way she wanted. She also wore some traditional Thai outfits and did some Thai dance moves. The singer hopes to show her confident side and strength for her name.
