Actors Bill Skarsgard & Lily-Rose Depp are in talks to feature in director Robert Eggers’ new visual on the vintage movie “Nosferatu“. The movie is adapted from German director F. W. Murnau’s 1922 aphonic horror movie that was based on Bram Stoker’s “Dracula.”

It is acclaimed as a mysterious story of compulsion between a ghostly young woman in 19th century Germany and the old Transylvanian vampire who chase her, bringing countless horror with him. Eggers has been thinking about reanalyzing F.W. Murnau’s 1992 German definitive which was remade by Werner Herzog as ‘Nosferatu the Vampyre’ in 1979 since 2015 and it seems as if he has ultimately found his lead actors in Bill Skarsgard & Lily-Rose Depp.

Eggers will write and direct the movie for Focus Features, and he will also produce the movie with Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Chris Columbus, and Eleanor Columbus. In the meantime, Robert’s latest production on the movie had caused him so many issues, he was not sure if he was ordained to finish the work.

Anya Taylor-Joy, who has partnered with Eggers on The Northman and The Witch, was earlier attached to the Nosferatu remake. As per reports, it’s said the actor had to leave the movie due to her busy schedule, which includes Mad Max: Fury Road prequel Furiosa and the animated Super Mario film.

Bill Skarsgård is well-known for playing Pennywise in ghost films It and It Chapter Two, both based on the Stephen King novel. He is also set to feature in a remake of The Crow in opposition to FKA Twigs. Nosferatu has been one of Eggers’ long-anticipating dream projects since 2017. He has found it tough for the movie’s wings to fully take flight, even with the earlier emphasis on its cast having cast both Anya Taylor-Joy and Harry Styles.
