“Big Sky” Season 2 premiere
With some new mysteries “Big Sky” is finally back on TV with season 2. The first episode of the popular crime drama series’ new season premiered in 30th of September, 10 PM, on ABC.
The show follows Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt, two detectives. They join forces to investigate kidnapping of two sisters who were kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. Later in the show they realized that those sisters are not the only girls missing from that area which threw a challenge to the detectives to find out the killer before any other woman lose her life.
Cassie Dewell’ role is played by Kylie Bunbury while Ryan Phillippe is playing Cody Hoyt. Other cast members includes Katheryn Winnick playing Jenny Hoyt, Brian Geraghty as the main antagonist Ronald Pergman, Valerie Mahaffey as Helen Pergman, Dedee Pfeiffer portraying Denise Brisbane, Natalie Alyn Lind as Danielle Sullivan; Jade Pettyjohn as Grace Sullivan, Jess James Keitel and John Carroll Lynch as Jerrie and Rick Legarski.
The first episode is titled “Wakey Wakey”. In the episode we see, private detective Jenny is still recovering from the gunshot wound, caused during Ronald’s escape. Ronald is the sex trafficking trucker and primary antagonist from season 1 who is on the lam. on the other side Cassie Dewell, Jenny’s colleague is aimed to take Ronald down. Cassie keeps herself engage in work in hope that she might find a clue to find him. She even finds her first clue in this episode.
The whole episode is full of suspense and mystery, enough to keep our mind engage. And one of the big surprise of this season of “Big Sky” is John Carroll Lynch’ return in the show.
Creator of “Big Little Lies”, David E. Kelley is the creator of “Big Sky” which is also based on the books by C.J. Box. And it is produced by 20th Television and A+E Studios.
