Big Mouth is an American animated sitcom featuring teens. The sitcom is created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett. The characters are based on Kroll and Goldberg’s upbringing in New York. The first season of the show premiered on September 27, 2017 on Netflix.
The story follows the lives of a group of 7th graders as they navigate through the adolescent issues such as puberty, sexual arousal etc. They interact with people and objects which give confusing but helpful advice on the same matters.
In July 2019, Netflix renewed the series from season four through six.
Big Mouth has seen various guests in the three seasons so far. The cast of Queet Eye made an appearance in the third season of the show. They helped in make over for Coach Steve. Jon Hamm played Scallops. Wanda Sykes appeared as the ghost of Harriet Tubman. Bobby Cannavale played the role of the Hormone Monster.
In the final episode of season three, every student receives superpowers after a freak storm. Andrew can become invisible, Nick can change his body size, Missy can control weather with her feelings, Jessi can make people tell truth with a touch. But it simply turns out to be Caleb’s imagination.
Season four of Big Mouth is definitely going be to be full of surprises and turns. With season three ending with an uncertainty, the next season is going to be a unexpected turn of events.
