Beetlejuice 2 taken up by Brad Pitt’s production company
Following the news of Beetlejuice 2 coming into action, the film is being produced by Brad Pitt‘s production company Plan B Entertainment.
Not only this, it confirmed Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder reprising their roles from its first instalment as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz.
The award-winning company of Pitt won several awards. It is the same entertainment company under which World War Z (2013), 12 Years a Slave (2013), Minari (2020), and Moonlight (2016) film produced.
The sequel of the film pending for several years and now finally the news of its progress gives little satisfaction to its fans. This project wrapped for a very long time, but when last year Keaton mentioned in one of the interviews that they’re doing its sequel part, the rumour started. And now finally this confirmation brings some hope and made sure its release.
However, the production company yet to sign the contract but now we quite say that film may now see some development.
About the film
The first film released in 1988, a comedy and fantasy film revolves around a deceased couple, who harassed by a family who newly moved into the house and hire a ghost hunter to throw them out.
Till now we can’t predict which way the sequel story moves ahead. Whether it continues from where it left in 1988 or see some new plot twist.
The film cast not revealed now but we are expecting some old cast from its original film can reprise their role just like Keaton and Ryder. Fans can also expect to see some fresh faces. Although, for now, no revelation done on the cast members.
Beetlejuice 2 might start from summer 2022 as reported. However, once its production finally begins only then any development of the film and teaser can be expected.
