When you listen to these lines, either you are reminded of Bob Marley’s or the movie Bad Boys. The Bad Boys movies have become iconic buddy cop movies over a period two decades.
Bad Boys for Life, the third installment of the Bad Boys series was released on January 17, 2020. This movie is a sequel to Bad Boys II which came in 2003.
Martin Lawrence and Will Smith reprised their roles as Miami detective Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, respectively. After several attempts to enter production, the movie was finally greenlit in October 2018.
The movie shows Lowrey and Burnett investigating a string of murders which are tied to Lowrey’s past. Isabel and Armando Aretas, the mother-son duo are after Mike Lowrey to take revenge for drug kingpin Benito’s death. The cop duo teams up with AMMO a special tactical unit to solve the case.

Will Smith was previously seen in movies such as Men in Black, Hancock. In 2019, he voiced Lance Sterling in the animated movie Spies in Disguise. He also appeared in a double role in Ang Lee’s Gemini Man.
Martin Lawrence is notably known for his role as Martin Payne, in the FOX sitcom Martin. He has also appeared in various comedy movies such as Nothing to Lose, Blue Streak, Big Momma’s House, etc. He also has a slew of stand-up comedy films such as Martin Lawrence Live:Runteldat, Martin Lawrence: Doin’ Time.
