On a particularly awful day, she reveals how even the yelled instructions of her dance instructor/DWTS partner breaks her down. She knows Alan Bersten means well and cannot understand her due to not going through the mental illnesses himself. But she still can’t help breaking down.

This mental health struggle is hard enough. However, Hannah has to face the cameras almost every day as well no matter how she is feeling. Taking a positive attitude, the ex-bachelorette says her open nature may be a blessing in the disguise of a curse. She believes this is why her fans love and support her – because of her honesty. Trusting in the power of communication and her voice, she urges her fans to also open up if they going through hard times.

Hannah is using her platform to open up the conversation regarding mental health. She is doing so by talking about her own experiences and issues. And for that, we applaud her!
