APC Has Acquired World Sales Right For Its New Thriller Drama
APC(About Premiere Content) has got rights for its thriller Finnish drama. ‘A Good Family’ is a series of six-part which is still in progress but will be out soon. The filming is going on at Estonia for now.
The series aims to provide a moral value under a strong dilemma. However, it talks about a family and how it must go on. For a modern world who prefers to stay away from the family APC surely has tried to show it world wide.
APC Drama’s Directors And Producers
APC must have had strong confidence on the series, which made them to buy the rights for the series. Also they have the best directors and producers behind the successful story.
Petri Karra’s 2019 novel “The Dark Light” is behind the story of the drama. Karra is also a screenwriter and author who gave the amazing novel “Musta Valo”.
However, Minna Virtanen, producer and creator said that they collaborated even before the novels publishing.
Virtanen’s Vertigo will produce the series along with Finnish commercial channel and streaming service C More/MTV3.
Maria Sid from “Before We Die” and Samuli Edelmann “Mission: Impossible” will take the lead role.
Plot For ‘A Good Family’
The Scandinavian crime thriller focuses on the modern crime and families approach. The story takes us into the lives of police officer Anna and her husband Henrick. Which Maria Sid and Samuli Edelmann plays.
Their son brings a heinous crime to their doorstep which promotes them to act quick. And as a family they try everything to save their son from that crime. They even cross lines in order to help their son get out of the mess. But there is always a villain like character, called as Lefa a crime lord and a loveable father. Tommi Korpela plays the role of Lefa in the drama.
This will also be APC’s global distribution after the thriller series “Man in Room 301”. This series will premiere at the fall of 2022. It will be available in Finnish streaming platforms like YLE and also on Netflix.
