‘Another Life’ back with Season 2 despite the horrendous ratings! Read further to know more.

Another life is a science fiction drama web television on Netflix. It is expected to be back in 2020. Season one of this show was very dispiriting. Viewers were rather surprised when the makers decided to renew the show for a second season. Season 1 was released last year and was pretty much disastrous. On IMDB it holds a rating of 4.9/10 and 6% on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite such horrendous ratings, the maker Aaron Martin is taking his chances for a second season.

Although, the critics bashed it and most of their reviews were underwhelming, the viewers had more of a polarizing response. A handful of viewers actually loved the series and are desperately waiting for the second season. Viewers think that it is worth giving a shot.

Season 1

Season 1 premiered on 25 July, 2019 on Netflix. The show’s plot revolves around stuff very similar to what we see in Sci-fi Hollywood movies. The pilot episode began with an alien ship coming to earth and the scientists trying to find the facts behind such an unusual occurrence. While a handful of them try to find a way to talk with the aliens. A crew led by Niko Breckinridge played by Katee Sackhoff flies off to find the inception of this spacecraft. What follows is their exploration in outer space.

The first season ended on a cliff-hanger, which is quite enough to keep the limited fan base craving for more. As Netflix decided to go ahead, the second season is expected to be a lot better than the first one.

As of now we do not know much about the second season as Netflix has not made anything official yet. It is still in the production stages. But we can expect it to arrive at the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021.
