Annie Live! is set to release in December
There has been a lot of musical events like Rent Live! and Grease Live! but people are expecting more from Annie Live!. The critics and the fan awaiting expects that Annie’s story is soothing and this might make it one of the best musical broadcast. There was a time when we are stuck on songs like “Tomorrow” and “Maybe” but now it’s Celina Smith’s responsibility to win every heart as Annie. Like that, it might even become a heart-warming gift for us, after all, the past few years were no less harsh for everyone.

Annie Live! will release on NBC on December 2, 2021. NBC has not only revealed the look of Celina but Taraji’s also.

Annie Live! also stars Harry Connick Jr., Nicole Scherzinger, Tituss Burgess, and Jane Krakowski. Robert Greenblatt will executively produce the show along with Neil Meron and Alex Rudzinski. Whereas, Lear deBessonet and Rudzinski will direct the show. The main part of music direction will be covered by Stephen Oremus whereas Sergio Tazewell will handle the musical choreography.
Thoughts of NBC on their upcoming show NBC Live!
NBC says that Annie was the biggest and loved hit in the history of Broadway. It has also won seven Tony Awards and one of them also includes Best Musical. Annie Live! will follow the steps of “Little Orphan Annie” that came in 1924.
There has been, no adaptation of the musical snippet but it got famous from the film debuted in 1982 starring Aileen Quinn as Annie.
