Anne With An E, initially Anne, is a Canadian drama television series based on the novel of 1908. The Anne Of Green Gables penned by Lucy Maud Montgomery and rewrote for the show by mighty Emmy award-winner writer, Moira walley. The show was first aired on CBC television in Canada and then on Netflix for streaming it in the world.
The season was very well received, which impelled the creators to renew the show for ten more episodes in 2017 and subsequently we had a third season as well in late 2019. The waves were lofty for the show, and it couldn’t sustain. Yes, you read it right, for now, the show has been cancelled. After it was announced that show has been cancelled the final season has been released on Netflix outside Canada on January 3, 2020.

The story revolves around brother and sister who decides to adopt a child, particularly a boy child. But they end up adopting a girl child when they find young talkative Anne at the railway station. Anne starts living with the family and soon becomes a notorious part of the family. But sweet Anne always manages to run in trouble every single time, but her innocence is what sustains her always.

Yes, series will not return with season 4 and yes we received an explanation from the creators. That, why they want to end a critically and as well finically successful show? The reason is the wrong audience, well let me break it to you. According to the explanation, Even though the series show had a decent fan base, it fails to attract younger audiences. The show was popular among the age group of 25-54 years.
Although, a petition has been started by fans of the show on the change.org. well, at least fan deserves a proper ending of the show.
