On Friday, the Oscar winner and Humanitarian, Angelina Jolie inks a three-year deal with well-known TV production, Fremantle. The agreement includes production of films, TV series and documentaries. In addition, later this year, they have decided to kickstart their first work which is ‘Without Blood’.
It is Alessandro Baricco’s international bestseller adaptation in May. She will serve as Director and producer simultaneously. ‘Silk’ credited Alessandro Baricco’s book revolves around girl named Nina who is the Victim of conflict and violence. The plot centralizes her journey of revenge and healing. She is only survivor in her family who escape the trap due to the act of mercy. Anyways, the movie will roll on Italy’s background setting.
About Three year deal of Fremantle
After signing the three year deal of Fremantle with ‘A Place in Time’, the TV giant concluded it as a golden opportunity to work with a famous and powerful actress. Moreover, it quoted they were teamed up to produce more “sophisticated, powerful and internationally focused” projects. They planned to work on sensitive and social awareness topics rather focusing on spicy plotted ones. In addition, as per contract, they are seeking to produce more local language projects.
