Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt’s Divorce Isn’t Finalized Even After Three Years: The Ex-Couple Requests For More Time And A Private Judge To Settle Their Assets

According to sources, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have still not finalized their divorce. The couple got married after a decade together in 2014, only to get separated just two years later in 2016. And now even after three years, the terms for the divorce haven’t been finalized.

This is because of the multi-million-dollar empire that both of them share. During their time together, both combined their wealth and invested in properties together. One of which is a giant 500-hectare winery in France.

They bought the $60 million Chateau back in 2011. And now this is a major point of discussion in their divorce settlements. The couple initially bought the winery to pass it down to their six children in the future.

Because of the ongoing discussions related to their joint finances, the ex-couple has asked for more time from the court. Pitt also requested that the matter be moved to a private judge. This has been approved by the LA County Court in charge of their divorce.

Jolie has also agreed to the extension and the private judge. Usually, divorce settlements do not take years but seeing as they are both millionaires, things got a little complicated.

However, both Jolie and Pitt have reached an agreement regarding the custody of their kids. At least the five who are still underage include Zahara, Shiloh, Pax and twins Vivienne and Knox. When it comes to Maddox, it is all on him.

Now that he is an adult and in college, he can choose to spend time with whichever parent he wants. But it probably won’t be Pitt for the near future. This is because of an alleged physical altercation that took place between the two.

Maddox was only 14 at the time. Since then, they have not been close or rather not been in contact at all.
