The group is a part of the nonprofit International Anti-Poaching Foundation. This Foundation managed Zimbabwe’s Phundundu Wildlife Area as well. These Rangers are looking into the service issue of lack of protection of the wildlife. They believe that these animals are important to the community alive rather than dead in the hands of the poachers.

This Is A All- Women Rangers Group Who Themselves Have Faced Abuse!

Kumire, who is an active member of the team of rangers joined the team and has herself faced grave issues after her husband abandoned her and her two daughters. These members have to go through intense training that includes working nonstop while they are cold, wet, tired, and hungry.

These women risk their own lives and protects the elephants from being exploited and killed  by the poachers. We need for badass women like them who will make the world realize how strong women are! These women and their contributions have been recorded by Nat Geo as well. They indeed are an inspiration to all of us.
