The interns discuss the guff between Addison and Meredith Grey. Long time fans of the show might remember the love triangle between Meredith, Addison, and Derek. It provided a lot of script to the show makers and those seasons were highly engaging. Addison is here to perform Grey’s hospital’s first surgical uterine transplant and includes Schmitt to join her. She makes a quick remark that her 8-year-olds listen to her better than the interns in the hospital.
A look back to Dr. Addison’s complex past
She first appeared in the show as a neurosurgeon in season one’s finale in 2005. It all started when she caught Meredith and her husband Derek in an affair. Her character got famous with her favorite word “screw” in every sentence. While Meredith and Derek’s romance was heating everything came to a quick termination when Addison showed up at Seattle Grace Hospital. Later, it is revealed that Addison and Derek’s relation was sour because of immorality after sleeping with Derek’s BFF Mark Sloan.
